Gillian likes English rap. I find some rap songs I enjoy, especially if it is sort a tongue in check. I find Chinese rap different. Not saying I like rap but because I hear it in a different language it has a different sound or maybe tone to it.

i think that chinese rap has its difficulty in that every character of the chinese language have a certain key and note to it, if one raps or sings a word or character off a lil, its easy to tell; unlike english, where everyword can be linked or broken down easily and even skewed around and it'll still sound nice...

learned this from my singing teacher lol :shy:

You have a point there concerning the language used in singing (rap).

im sorry for saying this but i find MC Jin's chinese rapping simple and pointless...stupid i should say...and his english rap is no better...he's just popular in hk becuz of his 'mini' fame in the US :rolleyes:
